What This Policy Covers

This policy explains how FingerFrame AI uses cookies and similar browser storage on fingerframeai.com. A cookie is a small value a website stores in your browser; local storage and session storage provide similar device-side functions.

Essential Storage We Use

We use storage required to operate the service, including:

• Authentication and security: signed session cookies, OAuth state, anti-forgery values, and related controls that keep sign-in and account requests secure.
• Language and interface: the selected language, light/dark theme, and essential display preferences.
• Consent and eligibility: records needed to remember policy, age, or hosted-AI confirmations where applicable.
• Operational protection: short-lived values used for rate limiting, abuse prevention, checkout continuity, and error recovery.

These technologies are necessary for features you request and are not used by us for cross-site advertising.

Analytics and Advertising

FingerFrame AI loads Plausible Analytics on production pages to measure aggregate website traffic. Plausible does not set cookies, create persistent identifiers, or track people across websites, devices, or days. It measures the hostname and page path, referral source, browser, operating system, device type, and country/region/city derived from the request IP address. Plausible states that it discards full user-agent and raw IP data rather than storing them, and processes and stores visitor analytics in the European Union. See the Plausible Data Policy.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity are separate, non-essential analytics technologies that load only when analytics is enabled. They may use cookies or similar device identifiers and may process device and browser information, approximate location derived from an IP address, referral and navigation details, page views, session data, and interaction data such as clicks, scrolling, pointer or touch movement, and feature usage. Clarity may use this information to provide session recordings and heatmaps.

We configure GA4 with Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals disabled. We pass Clarity explicit analytics consent with advertising storage denied and mask the local Studio and authenticated application shell. These settings limit advertising and captured-content exposure, but they do not mean that GA4, Google, or Microsoft Clarity processes no data: these providers may still process analytics data, cookies, identifiers, and session or interaction information under their applicable terms and privacy policies.

GA4 and Clarity are not necessary to provide the service. The site prevents them from loading until you choose “Allow analytics.” You may decline them, and may withdraw a stored choice by clearing this site's browser storage until an in-app preferences control is added. That consent choice does not control Plausible because Plausible uses no cookies or persistent identifiers; you can block its network request with browser or network controls. FingerFrame AI does not intentionally use any analytics technology to create a cross-site advertising profile.

Aggregate server-side operational measurements may be created from request records to secure and improve the service. They are not used to build a cross-site advertising profile.

Third-Party Pages

On production pages, your browser communicates with Plausible for cookie-free aggregate measurement. When optional analytics is enabled, it may also communicate with Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. When you choose Google sign-in or Waffo checkout, it communicates with the relevant third-party domain. Google, Microsoft, Waffo, banks, card networks, or other providers may set or read cookies and similar technologies under their own policies. We do not control technologies used on their domains.

Your Controls

You can use the analytics consent prompt and clear this site's browser storage or cookies in browser settings. Clearing browser storage withdraws the saved GA4/Clarity choice and presents the prompt again on the next visit. Withdrawing analytics consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal. Plausible stores no browser choice to clear; browser content blocking, DNS filtering, or equivalent network controls can block it. Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in, language persistence, checkout, and protected account features from working. Browser private mode may remove stored values when the private session closes.
